There's bound to be some idiots at any skirmish day and that can't really be helped but I've heard the Marshalls are good so hopefully there won't be too much trouble. I'd like everyone to try and fight together as much as possible, obviously that may not always be possible after regen and general confusion in battle.

I think I'll go british for this one. Battledress, MkIII helmet, assault vest and sten or Thompson plus the Webley of course.

Regards,

Ralph

Stanley
It's about 15kg & it feels a lot bloody heavier after 10 mind running around with it don't worry the number two has the ammo box & tripod to carry but that's not quite so heavy.
I am quite fit as my job involves alot of lifting buteo far I've made the mistake of bending down to far with a full bag which then forces a leek as you may know sometimes can happen.
So I won't be the only jerryatrick on the field then for a change.
See ya next week.
Peter.

I think from dog co we have 7 players who have confirmed and booked on as well who don't use the forums that much. We should all try and get on 1 team. Bol ties vs high cap whores :giggle:

Are you & your mates all coming in Airborne?
I am coming in an American loadout but I'm debating on weather to do Airborne or infantry.
Are there any others going as infantry?
What are you going as Stanley?
If we end up using the 30cal then it would look better if we both have the same loadout & I'm easy with ether infantry or Airborne.
What ever I end up portraying I won't be wearing any webbing except my backpack & pyro bag.
Anyway see you all on sunday
Peter. :happyclap: :happydance:

Great shoot today....think the ww2 crowd more than held their own against the hi cap m4 boys.

Peter, my son was in the grassland when you were using the mortar. He thought it was great and was waiting for the one with his name on it. :good:

That's all I heard all day =
You got me or my mate with that pipe thing mate
Or
That is the sickest thing I'v seen mate
Or
Where can I get one of those
Or well the list goes on & on.
It was quite surprising how many didn't have a clue what was making the loud bangs on the grassland area.
My best action of the day was running up to one of the underground bunkers & throwing a grenade down the chimney then still running to one of the buildings throwing a grenade into each window shouting thank-you & after they had all gone off seeing red players walking back to resporn
Still not a bad game if I must say so even if it was an open day.
Hope you all enjoyed it
See ya
Peter.

Had a great day. Got a lot of nice comments about our kit, even the marshals said the ww2 lot look cool. I referred a few people here as one or two were interested in ww2 kit so fingers crossed we may get some new recruits. Highlight for was holding down the left flank and pump house with the rest of the ww2 guys, the red team couldn't anywhere near us! Also got to do a random charge with just my Webley while blowing my trench whistle complete with ww2 death, great fun.

Well done guys and girls showing the Modern how it is done. Sorry couldn`t make it keeping you all safe at work :(

Good promotion for WW2 if you only turn 1 or 2 to the dark side its more to the gene pool.

On another note what was the site like??
Could it be dressed up for a WW2 venue??
Hate the Camo caravan  what is it with sites and caravans wish top gear could have blown it up.
